OUR HISTORY
We are a consulting and construction Electrical Engineering firm founded by a professional who hails from a community that is historically disadvantaged in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The company was founded in 2020 and named Nhlansi which is an IsiZulu word that can be loosely translated to “Spark” with a thought that we possess the ability to solve problems and shine a bright light to whatever project we undertake. The founding member has more than 10 years of industry experience particularly in the field of Electrical Engineering. We value our client’s and strive to constantly improve on the services we provide to ensure that we deliver projects on time and within budget.

ABOUT US
OUR DIRECTOR
Our team is led by our founder and Managing Director Siyabonga Mbokazi who holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, an Electrical Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (GCC Factories) and Category I Thermography Certification. Siyabonga is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer, he is also a member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) and South African Energy Efficiency Confederation (SAEEC). Our Managing Director has over 10 years’ experience in Maintenance & Operations after spending most of his career at Eskom Distribution. Siyabonga also has vast experience in Demand Side Management (DSM) after having spent some time with eThekwini Municipality’s Energy Office in his earlier years.
